It’s been some time since I’ve written, or even felt like writing because how can you when the world has gone mad?! Much respect to the journalist risking their lives to deliver the news. They are my heroes.

I’m headed to Los Angeles for a journalism bootcamp, where I’ll refresh my memory and learn new techniques in regards to broadcast media. After that, I’m off to Cairo to start my life with my soon-to-be-husband Mo, and continue my work for Alwasat Media Group. It will be an interesting transition to say the least! Arizona and Egypt are complete opposites but I look forward to living in a big city with so much history and culture.  I hope to post more about life as an American and Libyan living in Egypt in the future so keep reading!
